Shipping Policy

We're committed to delivering your order as quickly, safely, and affordably as possible.

1. Shipping Methods & Couriers

We use tracked courier shipping nationwide via The Courier Guy to ensure secure and timely delivery. Shipping options and costs will be displayed at checkout.

2. Shipping Costs

The above rates apply to AstroGear stock items only. Marketplace orders have different shipping conditions.

3. Processing Time

  • In-stock items: Usually processed and dispatched within 1-2 working days after payment
  • Same-day dispatch: Orders placed before 11:00 (where items are in stock) typically ship the same day
  • Same-day delivery: Available in certain areas under specific circumstances
  • Back-orders: Estimated dispatch date provided after confirming availability (usually less than 2 weeks)

4. Multi-Seller Orders

When you order items from multiple sellers (for example, AstroGear stock items plus Marketplace items from a private seller), your order will automatically be split into separate shipments:

  • Each seller ships their own items directly
  • Separate shipping costs apply to each shipment
  • You'll receive tracking details for each shipment

5. Delivery Timeframes

  • Estimated delivery within 2-5 business days after dispatch
  • Tracking details are provided for every shipment
  • Delivery times may vary during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances

6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track the delivery progress online.

7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or appears to be lost:

  • Contact us immediately at support@astrogear.co.za
  • Provide your order number, photos (if damaged), and relevant details
  • We will assist you in filing a claim and arranging a replacement or refund

8. Regional Availability

We currently only ship within South Africa. If you are outside SA, please contact us to check if special arrangements can be made.
